Competition for Children’s Drawings “The Technology that Links Me with the World”

MTITC Competition for Children’s Drawings “The Technology that Links Me with the World”

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Mr. Valery Borisov awarded the winners of the contest for a child’s drawing “The Technologies that Connect me with the World”. The event is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the International Telecommunication Union ITU and 135years of the membership of the Republic of Bulgaria in ITU. 145 children, from 42 schools, participated in the event.

The best drawings were selected professional artists from Specialized Expert Council for Postage Stamps Issue.

All the drawings are exhibited in the main building of the ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications from the 1st till the 5th of June. Each child who has participated in the contest will receive a postal stamp collector’s edition and a congratulatory letter from the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Mr. Ivaylo Moskovski.

“The first of June is the day we, the grownups, have to listen to our children” said Deputy Minister Borisov. According to him the drawings carry the message: ‘Technology can connect people”, which makes us confident that our children know how to live in the digital world.
