Conference on Smart Cities for Southeast Europe, Sofia

Experts from "Information Technology" Directorate took part in South East European 'Smart Cities' Conference which was held on 6th of April 2016 in Inter Expo Center, Sofia with organizer Via Expo, with presentation titled National Policy Aspects in the Information Technology fIeld on innovative smart solutions.
During the event were presented topics related to New Technologies, Internet and Innovation as engines for growth and transformation of modern cities into sustainable systems, saving resources and provide a better living environment. Emphasis was placed on: Inteligent Transport Networks, Smart Public Transport, Information and Communication Technologies for cities, incl. Cloud Services, Geographic Information Systems, Cities Information Platforms, the Internet of Things etc.
The Conference was part of a three-day International Exhibition for smart cities in South-East Europe in the period from 5th to 7th of April 2016.
