The Second Edition of SEEDIG 2016 with overarching theme "Can we SEE Internet Governance?" was held in Belgrade on 22 April 2016
MTITC Experts participated in the Session 2 organizing "Bridging the digital divide/s by SEE exchange in digital literacy" remotely with information on the 5 years history of IDN ccTLD ".бг" Bulgarian Registry.
The Registry of domain names in our national language selection is the final phase of our efforts in order Bulgaria to have Internet names with Bulgarian scripts.
ICANN completed the ".бг" IDN ccTLD in Cyrillic evaluation. The announcement was made on 1 March 2016. On the ICANN site is listed the status "pending delegation". The selected Registry submitted requested documents to IANA and after the approval domain names registration will be started.
".ею" delegation, approved by ICANN will be launching soon as well. |
