Minister Mutafchiev Met the New Founded BASAT

The Minister of Transport Minister Mutafchiev, the Deputy Minister of Transport Georgi Peterneichev and the Director-Executive of EA “Automobile Administration” Volodia Kirov met representatives of the Bulgarian Association of the Automobile Companies Society (BASAT). The occasion for the meeting was a presentation of the new founded association (September 28, 2006). During the discussion the representatives of BASAT presented their activity and their idea to become an active participant in the discussions of new legislative initiatives. The minister assured them that representatives of the ministry have carried out 26 meetings with the automobile branch, which is an evidence for e open dialog between the both sides. Founder of the Association are the Union of the Bulgarian Automobile Carriers, The National Branch Chamber of the Transport employers. The main goal is the unification of branch organizations for the achievement of sureness and stability of the transport market and a consolidation of the Bulgarian automobile carrier’s positions. This is the second big unification in that branch after the Society of the Automobile Transport Organizations (SOAT).
