The Bulgarian Authorities Are not Informed for a Change of the Stand of the Turkish Side in Regard of the CEMT Licenses

14.08.2009

Regardless of the activities undertaken by the Bulgarian Authorities, no Information has been received from the Turkish side to change the declared stand, concerning the usage of the CEMT licenses from Bulgarian carriers. With a note, sent last week, the Republic of Turkey informed that the prohibition for Bulgarian freight vehicles to use CEMT licenses on Turkish territory comes into force from August 15th 2009.

Therefore the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications appeals to all Bulgarian Carriers, accomplishing transports of freights to/from the territory of the Turkish Republic and using CEMT licenses to give comprehensive information to EA "Automobile Administration" in case of complications.
