Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" joined “Light” Campaign

Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" joined the traditional “Light” Campaign organized by the Traffic Police unit at the National Police Directorate. The campaign is covering the whole territory of the country during the period 1-20 November.
Inspectors from EA AA will be performing routine checks of the lighting systems, signage, tires, brakes, general mechanical condition of trucks and buses, as well as performing technical inspection of vehicles.
The campaign aims improving road safety and reducing road accidents which raise at this period of the year.
Road experts appeal:
- Check the lights of your vehicle;
- Regulate properly the lights of the vehicle;
- Do not use different types and sizes of tires. Replace the summer tires with winter;
- Check the heating system of the glasses and the car;
- Check the accumulator and the starting system of the car;
- Replace summer washer fluid with winter and put antifreeze if necessary;
- Always set off smoothly on wet and snowy roads.
