Minister Danail Papazov received the first copy of the new edition of a book on the rescuing of Bulgarian Jews, personally by the author Prof. Bar-Zohar

The Minister of Transport Information Technology and Communications, Danail Papazov, held a meeting with the Israeli writer and politician of Bulgarian origin, Prof. Miachel Bar-Zohar.

The possibilities of using new technologies to promote the works dedicated to the salvation of the Bulgarian Jews during World War II were discussed. "This is one of the unique examples in European history. The truth about these events is little known and it is about time the Bulgarians and the world find out about it" said Prof. Bar-Zohar during the meeting.

Minister Papazov welcomed the idea that the book by Prof. Bar-Zohar "Beyond Hitler's Grasp. The heroic rescue of Bulgarian Jews" could be distributed not only in the traditional ways, but also through new digital technologies. He informed Prof. Bar about the efforts of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications in support of books. One of the initiatives is for post offices in most small towns in the country to sell books and textbooks, said the Minister

Prof. Bar-Zohar gave a personally signed first copy of the third edition of his popular book to Minister Danail Papazov.
