The centennial of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Poland was marked with a postage stamp

Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Piotr Wawrzyk validated a postage stamp on the occasion of the 100th  anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Poland. The ceremony was attended by the Presidents of the two countries - Rumen Radev and Andrzej Duda.

"The postage stamp is part of the theme of Bulgarian postage stamp issues, devoted to the development of diplomatic relations of Bulgaria with various countries from all over the world. So far, the series contains about 30 issues", Deputy Minister Genovski said during the validation. He recalled that in 2011 an exhibition of stamps and envelopes issued in Poland was displayed in Bulgaria and before that the Bulgarian post-stamp issuance honored the person of Pope John Paul II. The latest postage stamp continues the tradition, the Deputy Minister added.
