Experts from 59 countries hold up as an example the Bulgarian model for issuing international transport permits

The Bulgarian experience in issuing international transport permits (CEMT) was highly appreciated during a meeting of the International Road Transport Group at the International Transport Forum (ITF) held on October 12-13, 2017 in Moscow. During the forum, discussions were launched on determine the ECMT/CEMT permits allocation approach after 2019.

During the event, the Executive Director of EA “Automobile Administration”, Krasimir Srebrov, presented a report on the model of issuing of permits for international transport. The participants in the meeting expressed their interest in using the Bulgarian experience as a basis for the digitization of CEMT permits.

Delegates from 59 Member States debated the development of the “Quality Charter”. It was decided the proposals to continue at the Road Transport Group meeting, which is going to be held in July 2018.
