The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov appointed Major General Zlatko Zlatev as Director General of the State Aviation Operator.
Major General Zlatko Zlatev is a pilot with many years of flying and methodological experience in military and civil aviation, with nearly 6,000 flying hours. He has participated in the command and control of the components of the armed forces on the territory of the country and abroad. For over 8 years he was commander of the 24th Aviation Base-Krumovo, responsible for planning, training and preparation of the staff. Since 2015 he has been appointed Deputy Commander of the Joint Force Command of the Bulgarian Army. He has flown for the government Aviation Detachment 28, as well as for Bulgarian and international airlines.
