Minister Ivaylo Moskovski and his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Vaezi signed a Memorandum on cooperation in communications and IT


Bulgaria and Iran will cooperate in the elaboration of policies on fast Internet, management of Internet resources and postal services, provides for a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of communications and information technology. The document was signed today by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski and his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Vaezi within the visit of the Bulgarian delegation led by the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in Tehran.

The Memorandum reflects the priority areas that will be the subject to cooperation in information technology and communications. Among the main objectives of the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which will be achieved with the signing of the document, are elaboration of standardization platforms in the sector and cooperation in the field of information society services such as e-commerce.
