A series of regular meetings will be held to discuss all the details in defense of the Bulgarian national interest, added Minister Rossen Jeliazkov.

During the conversations companies firmly opposed the measures in the Mobility Package I that limit the EU's core values, the free movement of people, goods and capital across the Union. According to the business, the lack of assessment of the impact of the new proposals on the development of the sector is a reason for concern and concern for the future of the Bulgarian international road transport.

The administration and associations have voiced their concerns about the social and economic impact if these measures are adopted, resulting in inefficiencies in transport operations, job losses, environmental degradation and massive bankruptcies.
