Ministers Rossen Jeliazkov and Kostadin Angelov validated a postage stamp dedicated to the medics on the front line

The Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov, the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov and the Director of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid Dr. Georgi Gelev validated a postage stamp. The publication is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Emergency Service in Bulgaria. The ceremony was also attended by the Executive Director of Bulgarian Posts Deyan Daneshki, the President of the Union of Philatelists Spas Panchev and the artist of the project Svetla Decheva.

"The publication is a symbolic gesture of gratitude to the medics on the front line, to the people who have taken the burden of expectations and hopes ", said Minister Jeliazkov. He thanked the Ministry of Health and the Emergency Service for their efforts to address the unprecedented situation with Covid-19.

Minister Jeliazkov pointed out that the publication depicts the first ambulance used by the ambulance teams. "The topic is exciting for philatelists not only in Bulgaria but also around the world," he said.

"I feel close to the emergency medics because I started my work at the Center for Emergency Medical Care in Sofia region. I thank them for everything they do. I can say with all my heart that they are the saviors of Sofia"said Minister Angelov during the ceremony.
