The twenty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Sovereign Order of Malta was marked by the launch of a postage stamp. The seal of validation was affixed by Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Andreana Atanasova and Secretary General for Foreign Policy of the Sovereign Maltese Order Stefano Ronca in the presence of President Rumen Radev and Grand Master Fra Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetlo.

Philatelic art promotes universal values such as faith, dignity and charity, and these are the principles on which the Sovereign Order of Malta is based. This was stated by Deputy Minister Atanasova during the ceremony. She added that this is the second edition dedicated to diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Christian organization. According to her, the postal and philatelic issue is a sign of appreciation for the humanitarian mission of the Order, which has organized hundreds of charity missions in our country.

"The circulation of the stamp is 10 500 pieces, of which 2 500 will be of particular interest to collectors, as they are aranged in a block sheet. It's no secret that most of the organization's followers are philatelists, ”the deputy minister said.
