The Cyber Security Act was adopted on October 31, 2018, defining the competences and functions of the cyber security competent authorities. Pursuant to Art. 4, para. 3 and Art. 16, para. 1 of the Cyber Security Act, Decision No. 192 of the Council of Ministers was adopted for the designation of the administrative bodies to which national network and information security competent authorities were established. According to the Decision, the Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications is designated as an administrative body to which the National Network and Information Security Competent Authority for the Transport sector, the Digital Infrastructure sector and for Digital Services was established.
