Information day on FP7 26.11.2009

The information day devoted to the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Community took place on November 24, 2009 in the big hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The event was organized by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications with the cooperation of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Coordination Center for Information, Communication and Management Technologies.

The national coordinators and NCPs presented:

  • The objectives included in the Sixth Call for Proposals of the ICT Theme which was opened on 24 November with a deadline for submission of proposals 13April 2010, as well as the opportunities for Bulgarian participants.
  • The Calls for proposals opened in the themes "Science in Society" and "Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities".

The main objectives of the Work Programme 2009-2010 of the ICT theme which were opened in Call 6 are:

  • Cognitive Systems and Robotics;
  • Digital Libraries and Content;
  • Towards Sustainable and Personalized Healthcare;
  • ICT for Mobility of the Future;
  • ICT for mobility, environmental sustainability and energy efficiency;
  • Future and Emerging Technologies: proactive initiatives.

The indicative budget of the Call 6 is 286.4 MEUR.

Five calls for proposals in the theme "Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities" and four calls for proposals in the theme "Science in Society" are open. Detailed information regarding the deadlines and indicative budgets is given in the relevant presentations.
