Bulgaria and Mongolia to work on international road transport agreement

One of the main priorities of the Bulgarian state is the development of the East-West transport and therefore the signing of an agreement on international road transport between Bulgaria and Mongolia is an important step. This was said by the Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeykov during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Mongolia H. E. Lkhagvasuren Sayanaa.

Minister Gvozdeykov said that this would be the first international agreement between Bulgaria and Mongolia in the field of transport. ‘The conclusion of the agreement will have a positive impact on the development of bilateral relations and trade between the two countries and I hope it will be signed soon.’

The Ambassador of Mongolia pointed out that the trade of goods between the two countries is increasing and this agreement will help facilitate road transport between the two countries.

They also discussed the opportunities for partnership between Bulgaria and Mongolia in air transport. During the talks it became clear that Mongolia is in contact with the Bulgarian aviation administration to discuss a draft agreement in the field of air transport.
