Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov met with the Ambassador of Poland

Bulgaria supports Poland's initiative to sign a joint declaration of 11 EU member states to cooperate and strengthen investment in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe. This was said by the Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeykov during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland H. E. Maciej Szymański.

‘Rail transport has great potential and is in line with EU policies to promote environmentally friendly modes of transport,’ said Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov. Opportunities for exchange of experience at expert level in the field of rail transport were also discussed. ‘Bulgaria is taking action for the accelerated development of rail transport, and the experience of Poland in this direction will be useful for us,’ Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov said.
