Minister Ivaylo Moskovski stands behind the actions of the Bulgarian hauliers at the border

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski said that he firmly stands behind the actions of the Bulgarian hauliers protesting at the border with Greece. He expressed his indignation of the fact that the Greek authorities and the protesting farmers do not respect the daily schedule, negotiated on February 9, 2016, to pass heavy vehicles through the “Kulata” crossing-border point. The requests of the Bulgarian hauliers are for entire opening of borders or at least to be respected the schedule.

According to him the situation is already unbearable also because of fact that while losses of Bulgarian business are daily rising, none of the Greek government is willing to negotiate and take responsibility to end this illegal protest.

Later in the day Minister Ivaylo Moskovski will visit the “Kulata” crossing-border point to get acquainted with the situation at place and is expected to meet again with the Deputy Prefect of the Region of Central Macedonia for Serres, Greece, Yanis Moisyadis.
