Rescue dogs and vintage cars are highlights of the philatelic year 2024

The four-legged disaster rescuers will be depicted on one of the stamps in the thematic plan for the stamps for 2024 approved by Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov. The "Fauna" section will be under the sign of dogs helping people.

One of the most interesting topics for collectors is "Transport". It will be focusing production cars from the middle of the last century.

In the philatelic year 2024, an edition on the theme "Bulgarian Churches Abroad - St. Stephen's Temple" is planned. A stamp will also be dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the founding of the first Bulgarian seminary.

The historical section includes an edition of two stamps on Roman emperors related to Bulgaria.

The stamp will be dedicated to the anniversary of the discovery of Braille. Sofia's architecture is also the subject of a special edition.

The Cosmos section will mark the 100th anniversary of Edwin Hubble's announcement of the existence of other galaxies.

In the cinema theme, there will be a series of 2 stamps dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vili Tsakov and Dimo Kolarov. The theme of fine art is represented by a series of 2 stamps on the occasion of anniversaries of the birth of Dechko Uzunov and Tsvetan Tsekov - Karandash, as well as a block of one stamp on the theme of impressionism.

The Specialized Stamp Issuing Council of the Minister of Transport and Communications reviewed about 100 stamp proposals for 2024. The selection process identified 20 themes for inclusion in the annual plan.
