The presentation has been performed during the online discussion on the Third Pillar of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, which the Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev has organized. The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications together with the State e-Government Agency have presented to municipalities and branch organizations the draft proposal “Connected Bulgaria”, part of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan of Bulgaria. Bus undertakings applying for financial support will be assessed only on admissibility, without evaluating project proposals. In this way, the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) guarantees simplified rules for submitting documents and maximum objectivity of the process. Each eligible candidate will be able to receive funding. Thus, the connection between the bus carriers and MTITC will be direct, without the need for them to use consultants and pay fees and commissions.
From 10:00 o’clock tomorrow (October 21, 2020) bus carriers will have the opportunity to apply for funding under the financial support measure. The deadline for applications is 17:00 o’clock on November 10, 2020.
