Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov and the head of the Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition prof. Hristo Pimpirev validated a postal–philatelic edition, dedicated to the 25th mission of the Bulgarian researchers to the frozen continent.

We provided a total amount of 560 million BGN for railway projects under the Connecting Europe Fcility. This became clear during the visit of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski in Brussels. He pointed out that with these funds the total amount for rail infrastructure under OPTTI and CEF by 2022 will reach 2 billion BGN with the national co-financing.

The European Union Agency for Railways will certify our experts in the field of investigation of accidents in rail transport. Experts from the European Commission met today with representatives of the administrations and the business, to provide guidance for apply the Directive on Security of Network and Information Systems in the national legislations of the countries of the European Union. The event was hosted the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.

After the entry into force of the normative document in August 2016, Member States have a period of 21 months to introduce the Directive into their national legislations.
