We have carried out thorough studies of the way other European countries manage their airport infrastructure, both within and outside the EU. By the end of 2018 new methodology will be developed for testing psychological fitness of public transport drivers as well as those drivers with suspended license. This emerged from “Human factor in road safety” press conference, held today in Sofia. A Roadmap on reduction of roaming tariffs between Bulgaria and Macedonia will be prepared at a joint meeting of the ministries of both countries, the regulators and the mobile operators. This was agreed today at a meeting of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski and the Macedonian Minister of Information Society and Administration Damyan Manchevski. Minister Manchevski proposed Skopje to host the talks in the coming weeks.

An initiative for a cross-border Balkan corridor that will provide testing of connected and automated cars to Western Europe was launched during the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
